Mr. Edward Joseph Quinlan

QUINLAN, Edward J. - Of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Genesys Hospice in Goodrich. Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM at Hill Funeral Home in Grand Blanc. Funeral Mass Friday 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI., Fr. Robert Kolenski officiating. Visitation at church one hour prior to Mass. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Edward was born May 28, 1921 in Detroit, MI to William J. and Grace (Soper) Quinlan. Edward was a US Navy Veteran and will always be remembered for building ships in bottles.

Surviving are children Elizabeth (John) Deibel of Clarkston, MI, Peggy (Dr. Russ) Bush of Lapeer, MI, Philip (Deborah) Quinlan of Millington, MI, Dr. Paul (Mary) Quinlan of Haslett, MI; grandchildren Saralynn, Lauren, Bryan, Michael, Emily, Katie; many nieces and nephews and six grand-dogs. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Quinlan. The family would like to thank the staff at Genesys Regional Medical Center ICU and Genesys Hospice for the care and compassion given to their father.
