I have so many memories of Ed. He was a best friend to my brother and my best friend's boyfriend for many years.  We were fated to be friends. We could not have avoided each other if we tried. I really just remember always having fun together, from the high-school years through college and beyond. We would tease each other a lot. He liked to scare me with his albino ferret (I was not a fan). We had an amazing group of friends and Ed was a big part of that.  He is loved.  I am so happy to have had him in my life.  He is and always will be missed.

Words cannot express our sorrow at the loss of Ed at such an young age. We knew Ed while he was going up. He was a kind and caring person.
Now he is with the Lord.

Dear Paguio family,
While we did not know Ed personally, we heard many stories of him through Manny and he was obviously a remarkable person. Wishing you courage and strength at this time. Our deepest sympathies for your loss.

Working at Gander Mountain he met a lot for good friends over the years. 

Any chance Ed could get he would be fishing or golfing. I admire his passion for the outdoors. 

Ed was and animal lover. Aiden his Yorkie is 14 years old now.

I was friends with Cecilia in HS. I remember Ed as her sweet kid brother 💙 Rest In Peace Ed, and prayers to his family and those who knew and loved him 🙏🏻

I was with deep respect for unknown  for what he did for our Alliance, i didnt speak to him offen, but was always there for those who needed help. Im glad i had the chance to know him. He Will be remembert.

Meeting our cousins for the first time (28+yrs!) filled the puzzle for the Mano clan! We had a blast even for just a short time! You left the best piece and spent a little time with us! Those special memories of you will always bring a smile!

I am blessed to have known Ed. Kind, Charismatic, Joyful, and so much more. A contagious laugh and handsome smile. Many, many great memories to cherish. But one that I am selfishly grateful for is that on numerous occasions you would take sneak photos during golf outings and edit them into a work of art for us. I tried to return the favor, but my editing skills were subpar to Ed’s master skills. But at least I got a photo of you doing one of the things you loved. You will be missed. As cousins, we didn’t have fun memories growing up bec we live far apart. But when we migrated to Canada you came for a visit & that’s when we finally meet in person. Those were my fun memories of you. I will miss your sweet smile & most especially you. But God has his own ways. You may have gone too soon but I know you’re in a much better place now, no pain , no suffering.  Rest in peace my dear cousin you will always forever remain in our hearts ♥️ Until we meet again…

When Tito Lyn told me of your passing, I wondered if I had met you when I visited your family during my first winter break after migrating to the US in 2008. I searched through my hard drive and found this picture. This was New Year's Eve of 2008 and I can't remember if your family was practicing a toast for the little one or was doing a real toast to celebrate the start of a new year. I have not been back since that 4 or 5 day visit but I'll cherish my memories with your family. I'm glad our paths have crossed. Rest now and say hi to my grandma (Auntie Binay) for me if your paths cross up there. My deepest condolences to Tita Leggie and family. May they find comfort in knowing that you are now at peace with our creator.  

Someone so special, will not be forgotten, happy times we could never regret. Wonderful memories will live on forever, in our hearts we will never forget.

I worked with Ed “Edwardo” (what I called him) for about 5-6 years at Gander. He was a light to the day. I can remember having such a horrible day and he would try his hardest to make me laugh! 
When we all saw the Ed was closing on the schedule we knew it was going to be an awesome day! After I left gander and moved away, I still would go in and visit when I was in Michigan and it was always a pleasure to talk to him and catch up! 
One of my favorite memories of him (which explains the picture below) is that I had take and fix my computer for a few days and when I got it back, he changed all of my icons and background to photos of him! Haha! He was so silly! 
I’m going to miss you Edwardo.. the Old gander family will never be the same.. 


I’ll never forget the time the Paguio family visited the Philippines (before most of us moved to Canada).  I was 10 then? They were so generous to take us along their vacation, going to hot springs, beaches, visiting relatives, the great meals etc. Most importantly , they were of course a ton of fun! (Lolo Eddie hiding behind palm trees and ‘jump-scare-surprising us while we walked through the beach at night lol). It remains one of my fondest ‘family time’ memories, and during wc Tito Ed had left a lasting impression on me (and my brother) to this day.  Before they left to head back to the states, he left us his Sega Game-Gear with all the best games. That’s like leaving a Nintendo Switch, iPad, phone, e-book..anything that would have have been a ‘pacifier’ for a long plane trip home from the Philippines back to Michigan. Who does that?! Tito Ed inspired-continues to inspire many generous moments for me from just that one thoughtless act.  I’ll never forget. Thank you Tito Ed ♥ may we all see each other again.

A very early Holy Family memory of Ed. I somehow managed my mom to let me have a summer party outside, with boys and girls, between 7th and 8th  grade. After the party my mom and dad referred back to Eddie almost daily for a good month. He charmed them just like he charmed everyone with his friendly smile. Particularly, though, my dad was impressed how when he peeked out the window to see what was up, we were playing spin the bottle; but it was six girls and Ed, so we were just spinning the bottle to see who would give him a kiss! Haha Ed was such a nice kid, with a great family influence, and I know that is why he earned friends for a lifetime. My prayers go to all the Paguio family and friends.

Ed was a co-worker at Gander Mountain, Gander Outdoors for many years,  good friend, and golfing partner.  In fact, I was golfing with Ed at Copper Ridge golf course, when he did something that I have never done, he got a "Hole-In-One" on hole five.  
Ed always had a good attitude and  smile, and I enjoyed spending time with him and sharing our lives.  He will me missed by so many.

Ed always had a smile on his face. A smile that would light up every time you saw him.  Most of my memories are from Hight School and they usually also included Chris and Chad.  The 3 of them always being funny and making you laugh. 
I pray God gives  all of Ed’s family and friends the strength  and peace during this difficult time.

Ed had an event coming up that required a proper celebration.  Any Ed celebration typically involved the casino - so here we are at the MGM casino restaurant/buffet.  Having all of the Paguio brothers together - amazing moments to be remembered.

I have to many memories to pick just one. Ed was one of a kind, beautiful inside and out. He's been a big part of my life for 32 years and my best friend for all of them. A part of my heart will be missing until we meet again. I'm blessed and a better person for having known you. You will be missed more then I can express.
