CARPENTER, Donna J. – Age 79, died January 3, 2013 in Clare, MI. Mrs. Carpenter was born April 2, 1933 in Gladwin the daughter of Riley and Harriet Ostrander. Donna enjoyed reading and playing Bingo. Surviving are her children, Barbara Coleman, Larry Carpenter, Mike (Linda) Carpenter, Jan Locker; 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, brothers, Allen Ostrander, Sam Ostrander, sisters, Edna Rader, Leona Hillman, Dawn Hurley. Mrs. Carpenter was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Carpenter and brother Otis Ostrander. Friends may visit the family from 11 to 1 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Brown Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Shuster will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
