Diana Zuraiqat

ZURAIQAT, Diana Naim Grand Blanc, MI. Our beloved wife mother daughter grandmother sister and friend passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in the comfort of her family by her side. Diana passed at age 62. She was born in Jordan on December 6, 1957, daughter of Khalil and Eida Zuraiqat. She married Naim Zuraiqat on July 20, 1979. She loved to cook, dance, sing and enjoyed going to Casino with her husband. Diana loved the Lord. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her kind heart will be deeply missed by her surviving husband, Naim; children, Evana Zuraiqat, Juliana Zuraiqat-Parks, Jumana Zuraiqat, Shatha Zuraiqat, Ann Zuraiqat, Justin Zuraiqat, Manuel Zuraiqat; grandchildren, Jordan Parks, Anthony Parks and Christian Burdan; mother, Eida Zuraiqat; 5 sisters and 2 brothers. She was preceded in death by her father, Khalil Zuraiqat and her brother, Emad Zuraiqat.

Diana Zuraiqat loved to cook for her family everyday, her meal of choice was grape leaves. She loved to dance to Arabic music every chance she had, her favorite Arabic song was Shu Bado (“What He Wants”) by Yara. Diana loved and praised her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved her family especially the children who made her days bright! Diana was the best Mother, Wife, Aunt, and Grandmother, because of her Love and Support for everyone. Her name, Diana Zuraiqat, will live on forever!

Diana was a giver, never a taker. She took care of everyone and everybody. She was exceedingly hospitable , her house was always opened for everyone. She was never selfish with her time on earth only to herself. She always put her self last . Above all she loved and cherished her family and friends. She will forever be remembered for her selflessness to her family, making family meals, her generosity and ability to care for everyone around her. Her kind heart will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 4:00 pm until til the time of the Trisagion Service at 7:00 pm at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Road, Flint, Michigan.

BECAUSE OF COVID-19 RULES THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY.

Please join the family at the place of burial, Evergreen Cemetery 3415 Hill Rd, Grand Blanc, MI Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 12:30 meeting just inside the gates. The family has invited you back to the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 Hill Rd, Grand Blanc Twp, MI for continued remembrance of Diana’s life.
