Deanna married Ken Cook in 1958. They had three children and built a wonderful family together.
In 1959 Deanna graduated from Hurley School of Nursing and remained active in the Alumni Association.
For over 50 years Deanna was a faithful member of Faith Lutheran Church. She had a heart to serve and did so in many areas.
A few of her many hobbies included scrapbooking, knitting, but most of all enjoying family time at Higgins Lake. Deanna’s life was centered around her family and friends. Her four grandchildren were precious to her. She often said they were her lifeline after Ken passed away. Many of her friendships lasted for decades. The family would like to thank Deanna's closest friends for their devotion to her, especially in the last few months of her life.
Deanna is survived by daughter Terry (Jim) Nock, sons Ken (Annette) Cook and Kevin (Angela) Cook, and grandchildren Justin, Thomas, Abigail, and James. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 42 years Ken Cook, parents Earl and Hannah Terry, and sister Judy Davis.
A funeral service will be held on January 12, 2023 at 10am with a one hour visitation prior at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Livestream of funeral service will be available at faithgb.org
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hurley Foundation or Faith Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
