Carol Ruth Reid

REID, CAROL RUTH age 81, of Goodrich, MI, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Bella Vita Assisted Living. Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI and 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Thursday before service at the Church. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Todd Biermann officiating. Interment at Ortonville Cemetery. Carol was born July 19, 1938 in Detroit, MI to parents Jack and Ethel (Smith) Soullier. She received a degree in Nursing and worked in a Senior Care Facility. Carol also worked as a Secretary in a Steel Fabricating Business along with her husband. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly . Her dog Brittany was her best friend and loving companion. Carol was a very loving and nurtuting person. Surviving are husband James Reid of 43 years; her children Crystal (DJ) Sirignano, Kim (David) Weber/Cummings, Ken (Pam) Sandy and Michelle Reid; grandchildren Ken, Kendra, Courtney, James, Mark, and CC; great-grandchildren Claire, Kaya, Cooper, Ella, Nico, Mia, Nyah, Hollyn, Lowen and Mavis; many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; first husband; sister and 2 brothers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
