Barbara Elizabeth Wietecha – Age 83, of Grand Blanc, died Saturday, September 20, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Wietecha was born September 24, 1930 in Detroit the daughter of Alvin and Marie Chase. Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved writing, gardening and animals. On February 19, 1955 she married Gerald Wietecha who survives her. Also surviving are sons, Mark (Marcelle) Wietecha, Dave (Terri) Wietecha, Gary (Amy) Wietecha, Paul Wietecha; 9 grandchildren. Mrs. Wietecha was preceded in death by her brother. The Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at the church.
