McCrory, William Gilbert, age 90, of Kissimmee went to be with his beloved wife Audrey McCrory on May 22, 2015. He was born in a cabin outside of Atlanta, GA on July 19, 1924 to Harold S. and Annie L. McCrory. He served in World War II in the US Army and was a telephone and a radio specialist. He was in Normandy during the invasion. He was a carpenter by trade. He was the co-owner of Boggy Creek Bromeliads and a Life Member of the Bromeliad Society of Central Florida. He is survived by his son, Ward Evan and his wife, Dolores of Eustis and Marathon, FL; his daughter, Elizabeth (Betsy) McCrory of Kissimmee; his grandchildren Georgia McCrory Orser and her husband, Will of Eustis, Ward Evan McCrory, Jr. and his wife, Amy of Eustis. He is also survived by his three great grandchildren, Lexi Orser, Belle Orser, Ward Evan McCrory III; and his sister, Sally Bates and her husband Robert of Orlando.
