William Higgins

William W. Higgins, a man of great faith and conviction, born February 21, 1931 in St.Elizabeth, Jamaica is survived by his spouse Myrtle Higgins, two sons, Christopher and William, daughter Elaine, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. William, better known as Bill to his family and friends will be remembered for his unconditional love, great wisdom and infectious smile.Following his education as an accountant and employment in the Ministry of Agriculture in Jamaica, Bill emmigrated to New York with his family where he worked for the ABC Network in the accounting division and later moving on to permanently settle in Orlando, eventually retiring from CNA Insurance.Bill will forever be missed, however, his spirit and legacy will be carried through his family. May he rest in peace knowing that the unconditional spirit of love and family has deeply been embedded in his surviving family.Bill we love you and will carry your memory in our hearts, always. A visitation will be held on Friday January 18, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service wil be held on Saturday January 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ocoee Oaks Church (201 South Clark Rd. Ocoee, FL) followed by the procession back to Woodlawn and ending back at the Church for the reception. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
