Virgle "Dwain" Crowe, 87, of Orlando, Florida passed away on January 1, 2013. Dwain was born on September 17, 1925 in Braggadocio, Missouri to the late Virgle Tillison and Rhoda Lenora (Morton) Crowe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II and receiving the Victory Medal, American Area Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal with 2 stars and the Philippine Liberation Medal with one star. Dwain was a retired realtor. He spent most of his time raising tomatoes and other vegetables along with germinating different varieties of flowers and plants to give away to friends and charities for fund raising. Mr. Crowe was a member of College Park Baptist Church and the Romeo Club (Retired Old Men Eating Out). Dwain is preceded in death by his son, Mike who passed away in November 2011. Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Bechtold; daughter-in-law, Sandy Crowe; one granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends. Graveside service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, January 9, 2012 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
