Virgil Thurman Williams

Virgil T. Williams, age 97, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023. Mr. Williams was a loving husband, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Virgil was born on September 16, 1925 in Amelia, Indiana to Hazen & Nola Williams, he was a retired Army WW II Veteran & Volunteer Fireman. Mr. William's is preceded in death by his loving wife, Amy; daughter, Susan Evans and granddaughter, Lalita Mock. He is survived by his sister, Geneva Huehls; daughter, Linda (Gordan) Cobb; grandson, Jamie (Stacy) Mock; granddaughter, Kristina (David) Gehring; great grandsons, Brandon, Andrew, Devin, & Mason; great granddaughter, Lalita; great great grandson, Jordan; great great granddaughter, Carla Mae.

A graveside service for Virgil will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to your local church in his memory.
