Vincent Angelo, DDS passed away on December 11, 2015 in Orlando, Florida where he had resided since 1973. He was born on October 9, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois where he graduated from Harper High School. He served two stints in the Army, one right after he graduated from high school and another, years later, when he served as an Army dentist overseas. He was first in his family to go to college attending the University of Illinois Navy Pier Campus on the GI Bill.
He had his dental practice in Oak Lawn, Illinois until health issues brought on early retirement to Redington Shores, FL. In 1973, he moved to Orlando where he partnered with his nephew to open Angelo's Italian Restaurant in Casselberry, FL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Mary Angelo of Chicago and Orlando; sisters, Mary Matheny and Anna (Diane) Margarella and brother, Frank.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; niece, Joyce Carcara and nephews, David Pavesic and Laurence Margarella, Jr. His final resting place will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha alongside his mother and father.
