Feel horrible that I just found out Tom left us - I can't remember Miami but we were together 10 years in Orld & 3 in Jax before I retired - Tom was always willing to go that extra mile - a perfect gentleman with laughter & ready joke - memories make me smile - I'm sorry for your loss - there are no tears in heaven

Dear Daddy,
I wanted to let you know that a very special Angel is on her way to be with you.  Today we had Colleen's viewing, and she will be placed with you for a final resting place.  I know that are already there with open arms.  You were the best father here on Earth, and I don't see how that could change in Heaven.  With this thought I am able to smile..

I just found out today that your dad died. My name is Yvonne Jones, I worked with him at AT&T. I'm so sorry to hear this. He was a very kind man. At first we were Testing Techs on the 25th floor in the AT&T Tower and hardly knew each other, my sister passed and he sent me a very sweet sympathy card. I really appreciated that. Later we worked together and I found him to be a very warm Christian hearted person.  May God continue to comfort you.

Dear Daddy,
Today it has been one year since your passing.  Came to visit you, and tie some things on your Christmas tree that Marnie put there.  Most of all, an angel, with a harp, to play for you all the songs you have probably been missing.  What an amazing blessing to have you as a father. Tom Carmody -My neighbor for the last fourteen years and my great friend forever. I know you as the epitome of a man who lived his life serving God and his brothers and sisters in Christ. A man who profoundly loved his children, his grandchildren, his entire family, his friends and every life he touched. I am one of those very fortunate people who had the great blessing to have you touch my life. It is my prayer that you will greet me again with your special smile, your wit and your wisdom. Today, I have had the great pleasure to again speak with your beloved daughter, Mary. Today,we were able to smile as we talked of you. I know in my heart that anyone who knew you, however briefly , will always smile when they think of you. What a wonderful testament to your life here on earth that alone is. To your beloved family, I pray that your wonderful memories help sustain you through the pain of this loss in each of your lives. KTF

I cut Tom's hair for 24 years.  He was such a great man...always talked about his family.  I'm going to miss our talks!  Every time he left  he would say "see ya next time Gina".  He always made me laugh.  
To Tom's family I am deeply sorry for your loss.

My family was very sad to hear of Tom's passing he left a mark on all of our lives. He will be truly missed, but in God's hands.

Papa Tom never met a stranger. His presence always lit up the room and he had a special way of always making us feel like family. Our hearts are filled with sadness and we send our love to the entire Carmody family.

His life, despite many hurdles,was one of kindness,love and humor. Loved by so many people. God will bless Tom Tom. He'll be with Molly. Jack, Neal and Kevin

To our dear friend Tom,
Thank you for the past half-century of great memories, from those early 1960's days in Rockaway Beach, to our moving to Florida in 1978, and your family opening your home and hospitality to us newcomers.
We remember all the Irish events we attended with the kids, the New Year's Eve Parades in Miami, and all the picnics and beach parties we had with our families.
And of course, all the times during the past 25 years you would come down to the Irish Fest in West Palm Beach, first with the kids, then with the kids and their spouses, then with the kids and their kids.  Always keeping your beloved Irish traditions alive for your family, even if it was a four hour drive.
At the festival, you were so easy to spot in a crowd of thousands, green Wolfe Tone shirt, green hat, that perpetual half smile, and of course, holding a pipe.
We will miss your annual visits, but we know that even Heaven is now a little bit greener, now that you have arrived.
Our deepest sympathies to all your wonderful family.

I will always remember the Irish Soda Bread you personally made every St. Patrick's Day for the BRC in Jacksonville.  You were very cordial, however, you knew when you were right and you were willing to continue the fight for the right way to do something in the center.  /we will miss you.

Daddy: there are no words to express the loss you are to this world.  However, equally there are no words to express the joy you must be feeling where you are now.  Nothing will stop the tears that flow for you, but I know each is caught in the hand of an angel, and brought to you as something more beautiful than the most precious stone in this world.  A day will not pass where I will not think of you, but in that same thought will be Thanksgiving for Our Father, sending His Son, so that we can have a place in Heaven (and if I play my cards right ;) together). In the Hospice, I drew a heart over yours, and said: this is so you carry a piece of me with you.  Then, I drew a heart over my own, and said: this is so that I keep a piece of you with me.  I love you so much Daddy.  What an honor to call you my father.  KTF, God Bless.

To Bill and all of you...my heart is so heavy for you. There are no words able to stop the tears or the hurt in your hearts, yet I know God is big enough to bring you peace and comfort in the midst of this sad time. Psalm 56:8 says, "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." God sees each tear and He knows. I'm praying for all of you and send my love.

Tom Tom and Family......so sorry to hear about your passing and had thought about you many times since you left for Florida. Friends from the East Side and of course Rockaway which still hold memories that will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace my friend and may the wind be always at your back until we all meet again. This Christmas, my wife Kathleen and I will make it a point to stop by St Catherine of Siena and say a prayer in your honor and memory.........
