Steven James Holtzapple

Steven “Steve” J. Holtzapple, 32, of Ocoee, FL, passed away August 4, 2016. He was born in Orlando, FL, on September 28, 1983, and received Jesus Christ as his Savior at 6 years old. He was raised in Orlando, where he attended Boone High School. Steven’s pride and joy in life were his daughter, Aimee and his son, Steven Jr. “Junior”. Growing up he was very active in sports and loved fishing. He was so talented with his fishing skills that he even caught a fish with his daughter’s Barbie fishing pole on a trip to Homosassa. He also enjoyed “playing golf” and seeing how far he could outdrive his dad. Steven enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved making everyone laugh with his silly antics. His laugh was contagious!

Steven is survived by his daughter Aimee, his loving parents, Jim and Joyce Holtzapple of Ocoee, FL, sister Valerie (Eddie) of Apopka, FL and nieces and nephew Kyla, Kaitlyn and Kaleb. His Gramma, Vivian Holtzapple and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by Cassandra J. Green and Steven J. Holtzapple, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at West Orlando Baptist Church in Ocoee, FL on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10:00am. A reception will be held at the church immediately following the service.
