Steve Bennett Todd, 70, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away on January 21, 2019. Steve was born in Key West, Florida on July 16, 1948 to the late Mrs. Ada (nee Thompson) and Mr. Percy Todd. Steve and his family moved to Pine Hills, Florida in the 1950’s and he attended Pine Hills Elementary, Robinswood Middle School and Evans High School, graduating in 1968.
Steve served in the United States Army, fighting in the Vietnam War from 1969-1970. He went on to work with the Florida Power Corporation from 1971-2004. In 1982, he married his beloved wife, Tammy Todd.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dennis Todd.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy (nee Watson) Todd; his sons, Ronny Todd (M Todd) and Jeremy Todd; his grandchildren, Demi Todd, Mason Todd, Allie Todd, Aubrey Todd and his sister, Carolyn Smith. He also leaves many beloved brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 12:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida.
