Sharon L. “Sherry” Brower, 70, surrounded by her loved ones at home, lost her courageous battle with breast cancer on Feb. 10. After moving to Florida from the Chicago area in 1965, she had made Orlando her home for the last 40 years. Sherry was a member of the West Orange Women’s Club, St. Luke’s Women's Bible Study Group, Canasta Cuties and Mahjongg Group. She was predeceased by her parents, Cecil E. Duncan and Leonora Calano and brother, Robert E. Duncan. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 38 years Henry “Hank” Brower; her daughter, Laura M. Smith and step daughter, Tami (Kevin) Black; sisters, Alicia (Geoff) Gubbins, Jerralynne (Jim Epps) Duncan, Kay (Patrick) Mills; grandsons, Pierce & Cole Smith; 10 nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 4851 S. Apopka-Vineland Rd., Orlando, 32819 on Fri., Feb. 14 at 10 am.
