Ronald C Whitener of Winter Garden, Florida was called upon by God on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022. He was born in Miami, Florida on January 15, 1966 to the late Marion and Sharon Whitener. Ron was raised in Orlando, Florida and lived in Central Florida for the majority of his life. He briefly moved his family to Tampa, Florida and then Henderson, Nevada for his career but was back in Central Florida within a few years.
Ron is lived through his wife, Donna and their children, Ronald-John, Alexis, and Hope. Ron and Donna met in 1985, they married on September 5th, 1992 and were blessed to raise their 3 amazing children. Ron cherished, loved, and protected his family. He will forever watch over them and guide them through their lives.
Ron had a successful career at both CarMax and Tesla. He retired as the LGM of CarMax, Orlando and went on to become the Director of Sales, Service, and Delivery of Florida Southeast, and Mexico at Tesla. Throughout his career he formed everlasting relationships and left lasting impacts on everyone he worked with. Ron was a strong, kind, and supportive leader.
We should all take a page out of Ron’s chapter, spend more time living your life. Ron lived his life fishing, neighborhood golf cart rides, spending time with friends and family, watching the history or discovery channel, or even Japanese Karate movies with subtitles no less. If Ron had a large glass of iced tea, a good steak to eat, and the Miami dolphins playing, he was enjoying his life. Ron found happiness in the simple things, whether that be the red cardinal flying in the backyard, or making someone laugh, sunsets by the lake, or even hanging out with his family at Fort Wilderness. It was the little things in life like that, that Ron appreciated most.
