Robert Joseph Trudell

Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, an avid traveler and sportsman, with an altruistic heart, his kindness was felt by so many. He was devoted to helping those in need.

After serving in the Navy during WW II and Korean War, he married Lauretta Fitzpatrick in August of 1947. He began a long career in banking and financial planning.

Welcoming their son, Robert J. Trudell II, the family became Happy Floridians, moving from Trenton Michigan to Florida in July of 1973.

As a dedicated member of Holy Family Catholic Church since its initiation in '73, Bob served as Lector and Eucharistic Minister. He also volunteered countless hours with the church's Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Orlando, and more recently, St. James the Apostle Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Port Richey, Florida..

After Lauretta's passing in April of 2011, Bob was blessed to find true love again and married Mary C Hall in September of 2014.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lauretta D Trudell. Bob will be fondly remembered by his loving wife, Mary C. Hall Trudell, son, Robert J. Trudell II, granddaughter, Shanna A Trudell. Stepchildren Charles R and Lisa Hall, Dianne and Glenn Shipley, Step-grandchildren Nicky and Meredith Hall, and CJ Hall.

Visitation was held at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. A funeral Mass was held at Holy Family Catholic Church, in Orlando, FL, on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at 8:30 followed by a graveside service at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery.
