Richard C. Pace of Orlando, 81, husband, father, grandfather and friend, went home to be with our Lord on October 1, 2013. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Richard graduated from University of Colorado with a degree in business. Following college, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
After his honorable discharge from the Army, he began a long career as an insurance adjuster with CNA Insurance Company. He retired after 25 years of service. Since he retired, he enjoyed reading about military history and religious history. He enjoyed painting and drawing. In his later years he found joy in watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren as they grew and developed into young adults.
Richard lived a long, productive, joy filled life. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary; son Tony (Vicki) of Atlanta, GA, daughter Lynn (Robert) Hodges of Orlando, FL. Former daughter-in-law Renee (Walt) Westmoreland, former son-in-law David Shook, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
