Rebecca J. Prather of Orlando, Florida went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July, 24 2022. She was born October 20, 1932 in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. She was the youngest of 9 children, the daughter of the late Walter Milton Demory and Irene (Moler) Demory. She was a graduate of Shepherdstown High School. Mrs. Prather had been a school bus driver for Jefferson County Board of Education in West Virginia for 19 years before moving to Orlando, Florida where she worked for the Orange County Board of Education 19 more years before retiring.
She is survived by husband: James A. Prather III of Orlando, Florida. Three daughters: Deborah Fritts of Charles Town, West Virginia, Corrine Tolliver of Altamonte Springs, Florida, and Melissa Silecchia of Orlando, Florida. Seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022.
