Norman W. Dockery, 91, of Orlando, Florida passed away on September 10, 2013. He was born on May 22, 1922 in New York, New York to the late Edward and Lillian (DeCassares) Dockery. Mr. Dockery was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in World War II and retired from the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier. Norman's favorite past time was fishing. He also enjoyed growing tomatoes and other vegetables along with traveling. He was a member of The Cathedral Church of St. Luke. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alexander Dockery. Norman was survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Bernice; daughters, Valerie Schettini, Norma Dockery Miano and Deborah Dockery; sisters, Edna and Alma; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
