It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nalini Lall, a beloved wife of the late George Harold Lall, devoted mother, adored grandmother, sister and friend, a great bhakti of Lord Krishna. Nalini Lall peacefully passed away on Friday February 16th, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. She has left an indelible mark on the lives of those she touched. We remember her as a person who was steadfast in her love of God, she brought a warm smile and calmness to the lives of those she touched.
Born on April 22, 1943 in Zeelandia, Guyana to Raghubir and Karmie Misir. Naini Lall, at an early age was devoted to serving her Lord. Every morning, before she attended school, her voice rang out in prayers to Lord Krishna. Every morning and late evening, prior to her passing, her voice rang out in prayers to Lord Krishna. Those who knew her, saw the light in her face, God’s light. Nalini Lall served her Lord by helping humanity. She was a patron of many charitable organizations that supported vulnerable people and children around the world. She loved to travel the world and during her travels to India, she helped the leprosy population, built and orphanage, purchased cows for villages to feed their children milk and donated to hospitals, temples, and schools for the underprivileged. A true mother to all, her life was our blessing and her memory our treasure.
The loss of our “Bubs” and “old girl” leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who knew her. She touched the lives of not only her family but also friends, neighbors, anyone that met her, even for a short time, remembers her. She has left an enduring legacy of kindness. Her memory will forever live in our hearts and her legacy will continue to inspire us.
