We celebrate the life of Michelle Alene Winslow, a good mother, good daughter, good sister, a good friend, and a business professional. We will miss her! Michelle joined her heavenly Father Saturday, May 19.
Shelli, as Michelle was known by her family, was born in Indianapolis, IN, January 28, 1964, and following lived in Franklin, IN, Columbus, IN, Lansing, MI, Sylvania, OH, South Bend, IN, Bloomington, IN, Manhattan Beach, CA, and Minneola, FL. She graduated HS in Sylvania, OH and received a BA and MBA from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She was focused on music and dramatics in High School, always playing in school bands and ensembles. She appeared in several plays, but was best known for her Mime and poignant clown interpretations.
Shelli had a very diverse business career. She worked as a radio reporter right out of college. She went to California after graduate school, where she quickly rose to a VP position with First Bank of California in LA and then guided business analysis challenges for an international communication company, Infonet Services Corporation in El Secundo, CA.
After accepting the responsibility of a parent, Shelli moved to Florida to surround her daughter with family. Upon coming to Florida, Shelli joined her sister in growing a retail boutique, All About Babies. She later joined Fidelity National Information Services in Maitland, FL as a Financial Analyst and later moved to WKMG, Channel Six in Orlando, where she was most recently employed as their Staff Accountant.
With a very loving, pragmatic, discerning spirit, Shelli was a welcome friendship eager to support and serve! Shelli was always there when anyone was in need and just quietly showed up to help! A good friend, she was the glue to her family, sharing her love and subtle humor while guiding us with her integrity! Many have been touched and will miss this unique lady!
