In Remembrance of Melody Blunk.....
Although our first encounter was 13 years ago when we met in Dallas, TX at our first Payroll Benefit Coordinator Conference, the special bond and friendship established over the years has lasted a lifetime. I'll always cherish your sharp wit, beautiful spirit, loyalty and commitment to doing things right, our "senior moments" and my favorite...our mention of 'happy hour' whenever we needed to escape the madness of life's challenges. 
I'll miss you my friend, more than you'll ever know but will celebrate your homegoing knowing you've received your Heavenly wings!

I had the honor of being part of the Medieval Times family from 2006 to 2010. Melody always proved to be a very professional person, but also very sweet and kind.  I have very beautiful memories of her that I will always treasure in my heart.  She represents a great loss to those of us who had the privilege of knowing her.  I'm sure she won the hearts of many people there, just as she won mine.  That is why I express my condolences to her family.  Wishing that God grants you strength and know that you are in our prayers.

Worked in the Fla castle for 11 years...and can't think of anyone there that had a brighter smile and gentler welcome.  A true Lady in our kingdom.  May God bless her gentle soul.

It is really hard to put into words on how much it hurts to not have you here with us anymore. It's been a blessing to have had you as part of my life the last 20 years. You were always kind and loving and looked out for everyone, especially me because lord knows I needed it. I will miss coming to work every morning and greeting each other with "Hi Best Friends", hearing you get frustrated over the stupid computer which made me giggle every time, of course our sporadic singing numbers to Elvis, Frankie Vallie and our go to song from Dusty Springfield. This office feels so empty and lonely without you. Thank you for being part of my life "best friend".  You will be missed but never forgotten. I love you!

Gentle dignity, kindness and a  deep humanity, all  wrapped in an unrelenting sense of duty, this is what I always felt radiating from Melody.
She invariably inquired about the well-being of my wife and our two growing boys, making me feel that my own personal happiness and peace of mind were equally hers by friendly immediacy as colleagues. 
Melody, you are in our hearts, now and always. 

Our time has come to say goodbye,
With broken hearts we can't deny,
We shared a love for collecting old treasures,
And making our crafts brought us lots of pleasure,
We laughed, we cried, we traveled wide,
Never easy when your old car died,
You never gave up for this is true,

My dear friend what started as a work relationship turned into a great friendship. I always turn to you for questions about something at work and ended up talking about anything. Our family what was going on for the weekend our kids and of course our pets. It is hard not to see you in the office You are deeply missed. Working with you for the past 25 years have been a joy. I knew Melody since 2006. We developed a close working relationship since the beginning. She was a very special person, devoted to her work, loyal to the company, with strong work ethics, and someone I could always  rely on to deliver a job well done. I was very fortunate to have had her on my team, she was respected by all team members and helped everyone beyond the scope of her duties. Melody will be deeply missed.

My sincere condolences to you Tim and the family for the loss ….Melody and I worked at MT for long time a wonderful woman with a great carácter efficient and very helpful with our Sales and Marketing team .. my son Andy used tour her office searching for candies sometimes when he was at MT. 
Unfortunately  I can not attend the ceremony because I am in Spain 🇪🇸 this week until next month of May

I was fortunate to work with Melody for 18 years and to have her as my friend for 30 years. 
Every work day I always started my shift by walking to her office and checking in.  This was not unique to me as there was a daily parade of team members and managers starting their day with a walk to her office and a  chat with Melody.  Her office was the epicenter of the castle, this is where we could hold court, eat snacks, get help with work, tell secrets , blow off steam, cry, laugh, solve problems,  but mostly laugh. Melody had a keen sense  of humor, she loved a good prank and often was a partner in hijinx which always improved the day. 
Castle holiday parties, Melody was always standing beside us, making artichoke dip, setting up tables, filling chaffing dishes, and wrapping up leftovers late into the night. 
Her dedication to the team members was unmatched, she always came from a place of service, was invested in our work success, but even more in our personal welfare. Melody  made our doctors appts, taught us how to close on our first home purchase, marriages, babies, personal struggles, she was there to support us  with experience and knowledge. 
Rest in peace my dear friend, forever grateful and thankful for everything you did for me personally, your legacy will last forever, we loved you fiercely, and you will always be our OG, hearts broken, the void of you no longer with us will never be filled. Especially for everyone that walks by your office everyday. 

Melody, “Hello Friend” was our unique and special greeting for each other. I feel like this is all a dream I miss you tremendously Mel. You were the most genuine, kindest, selfless person I have ever met, you always went above and beyond no matter what. I remember when we would be eating lunch and someone would often come in and ask you a question or need a password reset whatever it was you would stop and go take care of what it was that they needed I would always say Melody enjoy your lunch let them come back but you wouldn’t ever do that but that’s who you were you took pleasure in helping everyone and making sure everyone was ok, had what they needed and always followed that persons need to the end. We worked together for 26 years we watched our children, nieces , nephews, and grandchildren grow from babies to adults 
shared stories supported each other through ups and downs cried on each other’s shoulder, listened when needed without saying a word, shared secrets , lots of hugs, comforted and support each other, we shared a special bond and friendship I will cherish forever I miss you my dear friend, sleep in peace.

An amazing, beautiful, caring, and sweet soul are just a few words that immediately come to mind when I think of Ms. Melody Blunk. I will cherish all the times we had together on Payroll Monday. I will miss seeing your smile and the hugs whenever I could visit you at the Florida Castle. You just took such great care of everyone, and EVEN in the midst of your frustrations with technology, you always stopped and took a moment to check on my family and me and asked me how the kids were doing…Especially when I lost my mom. That meant a lot to me, and I’m genuinely grateful to have known you. 

Sending prayers to your family for your strength during this time.
