World War II for three years and worked for Lockheed Martin for 38 years. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Janet, and seven children: Ronald (Orlando), Ashley (Mechanicsburg, PA), Karen (Eugene, OR), Maurice, Jr. (Orlando), Dennis (Orlando), Bruce (Orlando), Brian (Orlando); and fifteen grandchildren. His twentieth great-grandchild is expected in June. He is also survived by five sisters: Jacqueline, Constance and Carole (Fredrick, MD) and Anne and Nancy (Escondido, CA) and by their children. He belonged to the Watchmakers' Association of Central Florida, the American Society of Quality Control, the Retired Employees Association of Lockheed Martin, and the International Association for Round Dance Teachers. He was a dedicated square dancer and was a round dance cuer for the Whirl and Twirl square dance club, the Hitch & Go Camping Group, and many national conventions. His grandsons will serve as pall bearers.
