She was born on April 26, 1929, the first of four Schall girls. It was while Mary Lou was working at the Pentagon that she met a young and handsome Marine who was stationed at U.S.M.C in Arlington, VA. This Marine would eventually become her beloved husband, soulmate, and father of her three beautiful daughters. After years of being stationed at military bases from New York to Hawaii, the Burrs made their home in Orlando in 1970.
Mary Lou was an Avon Representative for 35 years and was a Pink Lady at ORMC and MD Anderson hospitals for 18 years. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church since 1970. Mary Lou was a member of Avon’s Home Society, ORMC Auxiliary, St. John Vianney Catholic Church Council of Women, The Red Hat Society, and Bunco. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her loving husband Charlie, her beautiful granddaughter Dominique Brunner, and beloved grandson Brian Burr Fitzgerald. She leaves behind her three dedicated and beautiful daughters, Anita Fitzgerald (Brian), Amy Brunner, Gina Burr, her grandchildren, Jessica Cloutier (Matt), Douglas Charles Brunner, and Charles Burr-Colon, and great grandchildren Matthew and Grace Cloutier. Other survivors are her three sisters, Rose Marie Russel of Florence, Alabama, Sarah Elizabeth Strom and Catherine Olive Schall, and cousin Francis Schall of Bradenton, Florida.
Visitation will be held on February 19, 2021 at 10 AM in the Chapel at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6200 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, Fl 32809, and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either of these organizations which Mary Lou held close to her heart.
