Mary Susan Bell

She was a Godly woman who loved the Lord, and her family, and set an example for her children, grand-children, and great grandchildren that will lead them all their lives. She was born in Duluth, GA on August 20th, 1953, to the late Bill Kennedy and Elizabeth Claxton. She was married for 51 years to Jimmy Bell of Ocoee, FL.

Susan is survived by her husband Jimmy, 3 children: son Chris (Christy), daughters Kelly (Thomas) and Katie. 9 Grandchildren: Jordan (Ali), Jenna, Jared (Thao), Jacob, Hannah, Tyler, Trevor, Kendall, and Kinsley. 6 Great Grandchildren: Jordan, Rayden, Cora, Layla, Miller, and Jaylynn. Her brothers Billy, Tommy (Lisa), Jerry (Carol) and sister-in-law, Sybil. Lots of nieces and nephews that she loved like her own.

Susan is preceded in death by her father Bill Kennedy, mother Elizabeth Claxton, brother Jimmy, and sister-in-law, Gail.

She was a member of West Orange Park Community Church where she served as Secretary and Sunday School Teacher. She retired from Orange County Public Schools in 2007 to stay home and care for her Grandchildren. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many people. She never met a stranger. She loved spending time with her family and watching her beloved Florida Gators. She was a true angel on earth that let Jesus’s light shine through all that were blessed to have crossed her path.

A visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road Gotha, FL 34734 on Tuesday, December 12th at 2pm with services beginning at 3pm with Pastor Wayne Howell officiating.

A visitation for Mary will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
