Marjorie Frances Morris Martin, 90, passed from this life to the next on October 14, 2017 in Cocoa, Florida. She was born on May 29, 1927 in Birmingham, Alabama to Mattie Lou Buchanan and Quincy Lee Morris.
She married Arthur E. Heisler, Jr. on August 11, 1945 and had four children. She divorced Arthur and married Duane B. Martin in July 25, 1959 and had three children. Duane passed on May 9, 2015.
She is survived by her children, Ellen M. Burgess of Blairsville, GA., Wanda D. Jennings, Arthur E. Heisler, III of Blairsville, GA., Cheryl A. Wagner of Port St. John, FL., Jeffery Martin, John A. Martin, and Duane E. Martin of Orlando, FL.
She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Marjorie was a dedicated genealogist and worked at the Cocoa Library assisting patrons with the genealogy research for several years. She was an Orlando Temple worker and attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Later in life, she obtained a certificate in Real Estate Sales and was also a licensed practical nurse where she worked at a mentally challenged Adult facility.
Services will be held at the Pleasant Hill Ward building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kissimmee, Florida on Saturday October 21, 2017 at 2:30p.m. She will be joined by her previously deceased husband Duane at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, Florida.
