She was predeceased in death by her husband Clayton Collins, parents Thomas and Geraldine Falzarano and her 7 brothers and sisters. Born in Susquehanna, PA on March 14, 1932, Peggy lived a very full and rich life. After graduating high school in Hornell she moved to Rochester, NY and met the love of her life, Clayton Collins. They moved to Florida in 1959 where, in addition to raising their five children, Peggy took on a very active social life. She met many wonderful friends over the years, serving as the Windermere Garden Club President, a member of the West Orange Women’s Club and a proud member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and Holy Family Catholic Church. These friends became like a second family to her.
She was the matriarch of her family in every sense of the word; whatever she said, went, and she was loved for it. She relished the role of Grandmother and Great Grandmother and nothing made her happier than being with the little ones. One of her best talents was bringing everyone together with her cooking. No matter what was going on, once food was on the table, everyone gathered and enjoyed. She loved being with all of her family for cookouts, shrimp boils, birthdays, and holidays. Always one to share her opinion and quick to crack a joke, Peggy had a wonderful gift of bringing people together and inspiring them to follow their dreams. She will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her.
Peggy is survived by her five wonderful children, Clayton (Anne), Kathleen, Kimberly (John), Charles (Terri) and Michael (Sue Ellen) along with 11 amazing Grandchildren and seven incredible Great Grandchildren.
