Lynn was born in Rome, Georgia July 9th, 1946 to Joseph Campbell and Edna Fuller. She was the oldest of 3 children. Upon graduating Edgewater High School, she began a flourishing career with the Yellow Pages and then as Director of Human Resources at Coastline for over 20 years.
In May of 1968, she married the love of her life, Daniel Quigley. They were happily married for over 50
years and spent very little time away from each other until his passing in 2019. Lynn and Daniel became
parents in 1977 to their only beloved child, Shannon. In 1979 they built their dream home in Apopka, FL
where they continued to live till the 429 expansion took their home in 2013. Lynn spent the remainder of
years split between her home in Florida and with her family in North Carolina.
Lynn was a born story teller and loved to make others laugh. Throughout different stages of her life she
taught children’s Sunday school, women’s Bible study, and worked with adults helping them get their
GED. She believed that knowledge was a powerful tool meant for everyone and that the beginning of
knowledge was your foundation in the Lord. Her hobbies included reading books, listening to music, and
being with her friends and family. You could often find her lighting up a room with her quick wit and fun
sense of humor.
Lynn was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She loved the Lord and was diligent in teaching her family the importance of following Jesus and His teachings. She will be greatly missed by many!
She is preceded in death by her husband; Daniel Mize Quigley and parents, Joseph Clayton Campbell and Mary Edna Fuller.
Lynn is survived by her only beloved child, Shannon (Matthew) King of Raleigh, NC; eight wonderful grandchildren, Shelby (Jonathan) Steele, Zachariah King, Kyleigh King, Jamie King, Mattie King, Jaxson King, Dasha King, and Bonnie King; and great granddaughter Holly Steele, all of Raleigh, NC; sister, Amy Gail Story, of Winter Park, FL; and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
