Lynette Adrienne Scott

Lynn was born to Douglas and Jewel Adrienne Gahr in Orlando on September 8, 1948. After graduating from Boone High School in 1966, Lynn found a successful career in medical office management before retiring to Butler, Georgia then settling in Yalaha.

An avid bargain hunter, she loved to shop. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, playing cards, and word games of all kinds. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her soul mate of 33 years Stephen Rew; her dog Muffin; sister Pamela Ogburn; aunt Emily "Emmy" Baldridge; three sons Michael Scott (Vicki), Jonathan Scott (Melissa) and Steven Scott (Heather); two daughters Jennifer and Lia; two nephews Scott and Doug; one niece Jody Lynn; and 5 grandchildren Alec, Cameron, Caitlyn, Madison and Parker.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 5pm-8pm followed by a celebration of life service on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 2:30, both at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Orlando. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care of Lake County.
