

Lovie Ree Castellow was born on June 20, 1930 in Terrell County, Georgia to the late Robert Castellow and Viola Castellow. Lovie was one of two siblings, a sister, the late Willabelle Castellow.
Lovie spent most of her childhood in Georgia. In 1946, she was introduced to James Tinsley by her sister, Willabelle Castellow. After some time, they married and one year later Lovie was baptized into Christ, and she has remained a faithful Christian for over 70 years. Her marriage to James Tinsley resulted in 10 kids which were 5 boys and 5 girls. Lovie and her family, moved to New Jersey for 10 years and afterwards relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL; eventually making their home in Central Florida area. Lovie was a devoted wife to her husband James Tinsley Sr., who became a minister in the Church of Christ.
Lovie was a woman who believed in hard work, and she demonstrated those characteristics to her family. Lovie worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 25 years. Lovie's greatest passion was reading her bible daily and fellowshipping with her family. She enjoyed being around the younger adults and was always opened to try fun activities that she had never experienced.
Lovie is preceded in death by her father Robert Castellow, mother Viola Castellow, sister Willabelle Castellow, brother Robert Castellow Jr., daughter Sonja T. Daniels, son Frankie Louis Mahone, grandson Robert Marlo Tinsley, stepmother Bertha Mae Castellow, grandson James Tinsley III, daughter Lois Davis, and grandson Anthony Hugh Tinsley.
Lovie is survived by her family who will miss her dearly. She was a devoted wife to former Minister James Tinsley Sr., loving mother to Levi Tinsley (Lisa) from Hollywood, FL, Regina Swift from Orlando, FL, James (Jimmy) Tinsley Jr., (Theolia) from Orlando, FL, Earl Tinsley (Jackie) from Miramar, FL, Princilla Tinsley (Daniel) from Orlando, FL, Rieanna Marshall from Kissimmee, FL, Deleon Tinsley from Kissimmee, FL, sister Johnnie Mae Smith from Fort Lauderdale, and sister Nettie Evans- Francis from Atlanta, GA.
She also leaves a great host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ.
