Lewis August Meyer

He was retired from CSX Railroad. His hobbies included spending time with his family and the out doors.

Lewis was preceded in death by Augusta Meyer (mother), Ferdinand Meyer (father), Weldon Meyer (brother), Ed Meyer (brother), Ferdinand Meyer (brother), Michael Meyer (son), and his wife, Virginia May (Cocke) Meyer.

He is survived by Ronald Meyer (brother), Danielle (Meyer) Hodges (granddaughter) and great grandchildren, Jack and Amelia Hodges.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida. There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 20 at 1:00 pm with a funeral service to follow. There will also be a procession to Mr. Meyer's graveside at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Dale Meyer Memorial Endowment Fund at Barbara Ann Carmanos Cancer Center for Leukemia Research in honor of his nephew, Dale Meyer, who passed away from leukemia in 1993.
