Joseph Benjamin Westby of Orlando, Florida passed away on May 18, 2023 after a long battle with Merkel cell carcinoma. Joe was born in Minneapolis on October 30, 1944 to Audrey and Benjamin Westby.
He is survived by his wife Peggy of 40 years. He is also survived by his sister: Kelly Miller (Stuart); children; Kristin Gleeman (Mark), Alexander and Katherine; grandchildren: Andrew Gleeman and beloved goldendoodle, Jesse.
Joe worked for Nike Golf and many other apparel companies. He loved and respected everyone he met. His friends describe him a true professional, a mentor, and he was known his incredible sense of humor.
Joe was a member of the Bay Hill Country Club and was a passionate about playing golf and al the friends he had made over the years.
A private ceremony will be held in Minneapolis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mayo Clinic.
