JOSEPH S. PLUCHINO, 91, of Eustis, Florida passed away on March 6, 2012. He was born on February 22, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY. Joe was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Lockheed Martin as a Aerospace Engineer. Joe was a member of Sacred Heart Traditional Catholic Church and of the Italian-American Club. He had a passion for watch and clock repair and built a grandfather clock that is displayed in his son's home today, keeping precise time to this day. Joe was also known for playing the harmonica and his love for "tinkering." He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Joseph Dennis Pluchino and daughter, Carol Lee Gaeta-Jaffe; sisters, Frances and Jean. Survivors include his wife beloved wife of 70 years, Catherine “Kay” Pluchino; son, Eric and his wife, Marianne Pluchino; sisters, Mary Costanzo and Concetta Eckels; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Thurs., March 8 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm, Fri., March 9 at the funeral home.
