Jonathan Michael Kish, affectionately known as Jonna, passed away peacefully at home on December 4, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Jonathan’s light lives on in the hearts of his surviving family: his devoted mother, Mary Ruggeri-Jeffrey, and her husband, Michael Jeffrey; his father, Michael Kish; his sister, Kathryn Mitchell, and her husband, Elliott Mitchell; his niece and nephew Faith and Archer Mitchell; his grandparents, Kathleen and John Ruggeri; his aunt, Lisa Passarelli, and her husband Jim Passarelli; his cousins Nicholas Passarelli and Alexandra Passarelli; and countless extended family members and friends. He joins in heaven his great-grandparents, Mary and Frank Ruggeri; grandparents, Steven and Marie Kish; and so many others who welcomed him with open arms. A proud graduate of the Conductive Education Center of Orlando, Jonathan overcame challenges with determination and inspired everyone around him. He was even featured on the news for his incredible perseverance and was honored with the “Most Creative” superlative in his class—a true testament to his unique and colorful spirit. Jonathan’s joy was contagious. His laughter filled rooms, and his silliness brought smiles to those fortunate enough to know him. He loved giggles, tickles, massages, and cuddles, always craving the simple and meaningful connection of those who cared for him deeply. Jonathan’s passions were as vibrant as his personality. He loved anything visually stimulating, from space projections in his own room to mesmerizing aquariums and exciting movies. He found happiness on sandy shores, with his toes in the water, soaking in the magic of the ocean. As a beloved member of Crossline Community Church, Jonathan shared a beautiful faith journey with his mommy, Mary, that offered strength and hope to those around him. A gathering of family and friends for Jonathan will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A celebration of life will occur Friday, December 13, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A reception will occur Friday, December 13, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. Jonathan’s life, though far too short, was full of love, laughter, and light. His memory will continue to inspire joy, courage, and the beauty of seeing the world through his special lens.
