Jean, daughter of Alva and Mattie Mask, was born on August 8, 1933 and lived most of her life in Winter Garden. Mrs. Rignall survived her three older sisters and younger brother (Elizabeth Furlong, Dorothy Bowden, Gracie Bowden, and Larry Mask). Her father, Kemp Mask, was the sole proprietor of Mask Welding located on Plant Street in the 30’s. Jean was introduced to Larry Rignall through a close friend Mary VanDeventer, Jean was married to her soul mate, Lawrence Rignall, in 1970 and had 40 wonderful years together. Lawrence “Larry” and Jean had one daughter together, Jodi Meredith, who married Richard Meredith and had five beloved grandchildren, Anthony, Ashley, Shelby, Isaac, and Cody. During Larry and Jeans 40 years together they owned Larry’s Cycle Shop on Highway 50 during the early 70’s, after that Jean went to work for Sun Bank as the secretary for Buell Duncan, the then Central Florida President and Chief Executive Officer. When Jean left Sun Bank she became a Legal Secretary for David Landis where she stayed until her retirement in early 2000. Jean was a member of the Junior Service League and the West Orange Memorial Ladies Auxiliary in the 60’s. Jean loved to bake incredible desserts for friends and family. On holidays Jean made sure everyone had their favorite dessert which made for an incredible spread of cakes and pies. She was a devoted and loving grandmother; she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Larry and Jean loved spending quality time together taking car trips to see various parts of the country.
