Jean Hawkins, 97, of Orlando, Florida, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 4, 2013. She was born in Sandersville, Georgia. She was the loving wife of A.J. Hawkins. She is survived by her son Bill Hawkins (Jeanie) and daughter Marti Russo (Jerry), grandchildren John Russo (Joy), David Russo (Kari) and Laura McGarvey (Jeff), great-grandchildren John David, Luke, Josh and Hope Russo, Jared and Jenna Russo, Michael Jennifer and A.J. McGarvey. She and her husband A.J. served faithfully in many ministries at First Baptist Church of Orlando. Visitation will be held on Saturday May 11, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Henry Chapel, First Baptist Church, Orlando, 3000 S. John Young Parkway.
