James Kevin "Thurston" Howell

Kevin was born on January 8, 1961 in Winter Haven, Florida to James and Jimmie Howell.

Growing up, Kevin enjoyed close relationships with family and friends. His hilarious shenanigans with his sister were particularly notable.

Kevin’s adventures took him all over the state, from making magic with Disney to living in Fort Myers. Wherever Kevin went, people took note of his kind heart and friendly disposition.

His genuine care for those around him are a quality we will always remember him by.

It brings us comfort to know Kevin will be cheering on the Florida Gators and Dallas Cowboys from above with his dad.

He is survived by mother Jimmie Ruth Howell, daughter Kelli (Rob) Issler, granddaughter Charlotte Issler, son Travis Howell, sister Deana (Alan) Turney, and niece Morgan Turney. Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Woodlawn Memorial Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. Please dress Hawaiian- style!
