Induben Chetanbhai Patel, 88, Windermere, Florida peacefully passed away on October 28, 2022. Induben was born on July 27, 1934 in Nairobi, Kenya. She was born to late Mr. and Mrs. Valabhai Patel from Pij Gam. Throughout her life Induben resided in India, Kenya, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Induben and her late husband Chetanbhai Patel were entrepreneurs at heart having owned and operated a variety of businesses when they lived in the United Kingdom. She was deeply devoted to her religion, and enjoyed her time singing at Satsangs and praying at the Hindu Temple. Induben loved, more than anything, spending time with her family and friends. Her daily routine was dedicated to many things, one being her thriving garden. Induben was a passionate cook and spent endless hours making savory and sweet treats for the whole family. She enjoyed traveling and sightseeing with her late husband, family, and friends. A few of the places they traveled to included Switzerland, Austria, Africa, Australia, Canada, Hawaii, and many parts of the United States and Europe. She most recently enjoyed family trips to the beach and mountains and loved reading her books outside while admiring the scenery. She will be deeply missed for her funny sense of humor, her caring nature and her embracing hugs.
She was preceded in death by both her late husband, Chetanbhai Patel and her late daughter, Lina Patel. She is survived by her son, Pankaj Patel, her daughter, Smita Patel, her grandchildren, Vanisha Buckley, Shivam Patel, Krupa Patel, Krishna Patel, Jaiden Patel, Carter Harrer, Devki Ellis, Kamine Mehta, Rena Popat and Remmal Karamsadkar and her great-grandchildren, Zara Patel, Rio Jurgens, Kailani Buckley, Dillon Yost, Anya Yost, Arya Mehta, Anjali Mehta, Serena Popat, Reya Popat, Prahil Popat, Chloe Karamsadkar and Tessa Karamsadkar.
Arrangements for Induben have been entrusted to Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida, which will take place on November 4, 2022, at 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734 at 11:00am.
