Helen Dowling will be sorely missed by all her family. Helen and Bill had devoted much of their retired life to bird watching in Florida and Internationally. In their later years they adopted Oakland Nature Preserve as a nature and bird sanctuary to which they devoted much time and effort. In honor of their contribution to the building of the sanctuary, Oakland Nature Preserve is creating a birding garden at the preserve near the building with a bench and name the garden for Helen.
If you wish to honor her memory contributions to Oakland Nature Preserve would be gratefully received and used in the establishment of this small garden area. Thank you again for all your kind words of condolence and comfort for me and my family.
