Harry Persaud, affectionately known as Bodo. He was the first child born to Ramjas and Rajpattie Jadunauth on November 11, 1930 in Uniform Village Leguan Guyana. Bodo was a loving family man who had a very caring heart. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. He was very spiritual and loved his church very much. Harry met the love of his life Ruby and was married in 1951. They were very blessed and started a beautiful family. Bodo and Ruby had 5 children Jean, Sissy, Sally, Jenny, and Steve. As a rice farmer in Guyana he worked very hard to provide his children with a good and happy life. In 1979 he migrated to New York where he worked several jobs ranging from a security guard to a banker. Bodo retired in 1992 and relocated to Florida shortly after. He spent most of his retirement actively involved in the Mandir. Harry created a legacy consisting of 5 kids, 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Harry peacefully passed on Wednesday June 16th, 2021 in his son Steve’s Home in Florida. He is preceded in death by his mother Rajpattie, his father Ramjas and his beautiful daughters Sissy and Sally. Harry is survived by his wife Ruby, his brothers Ronald, Taza, and Seew his sisters Elsie, Phyllis, Dano, Vannie, and Senita. Also survived by his children Jean, Jenny and Steve his 13 grandchildren Derick, Ravi, Nato, Kim, Julie, Suzie, Imran, Nazia, Jason, Steven, Shawn, Brandon, and Shania. Also his great grandchildren Jasim,Jameel,Kristen, Logan, Noah, Ava, Ashley,Brianna, Aaron Eric, Ethan Justin, Ryan, Alicia, Jayden, Aishwaria, Lillie, and Anthony.
