Gladys B. Arnold, age 85, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012, in Merritt Island, Florida. Mrs. Arnold was born the daughter of Albert W. and Gladys G. (Waugh) Bicket on Monday, October 4, 1926, New York, New York. She is preceded in death by her husband, George A. Arnold Sr.; her son, Edward Thoss; and her siblings, John Bicket and Margaret Cotteral. Left to cherish their memories together are her sons, Daniel Thoss and John Bicket and his wife Karen; her daughter, Linda Lang and her husband James; her eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22, 2012, 3:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734, ph. (407) 293-1361.
