Frances M. Dean

Frances Marie Dean, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012, peacefully with her children by her side in Sanford, Florida. She was 83 years old. She was born on September 10, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, to Harley and Anna (Thilmony) Joy. She retired from the Navy Hospital, in Orlando, as an appointment clerk. She was an active and faithful member of Delaney Street Baptist Church for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her four children, Pam (and her husband, Ernie) Padgett; Sharon (and her husband, Dan) Conniff; Cindy Southerd; and Charles (and his wife, Shelly) Dean; seven grandchildren, Tammy; Ernie Jr.; Chad; Bryan; Aubrey; Avery; and Austin; and 4 great-grandchildren, Taylor; Cody; Kelly; and Crystal.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 10, 2012, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, at the Delaney Street Baptist Church (1919 Delaney Avenue, Orlando, FL, 32806 407-422-0758), followed by a Service at 12:00 pm, with Dr. Allen Higginbotham, at the church. Following the service, there will be a burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha Fl. 34734 407-293-1361).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Delaney Street Baptist Church, in memory of Mrs. Dean.
