My condolences to the family. I had the privilege to take care of him which hurts me a lot for the loss and it was a pleasure to get to know him and the Bell family.

To the Bell family,

Erskin was a great friend ever since I met him at FLEC in 8th grade. We grew close in high school and created a strong bond at FLA. I remember him with such enthusiasm and passion for sports and he always made me laugh at everything. I remember looking up to him as a brother and wanting nothing more than to make him laugh. It was always satisfying to actually get him to laugh at my jokes. I also remember all the traveling we did with Mr. Bell and the FLA jr varsity team. He will always be my brother ❤️ and I will never forget him. Please reach out to me if you need anything. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers, the great news is that we will see him again. To know Erskin was to love him. He’s still the most special person I’ve ever met in my life. His laugh, sense of humor, kindness and passion for life made him so easy to love. No one could tell a story like he could. I would hang on every word. He was so cool and interesting.  Everything he liked, I liked. He even had me playing EverQuest 😂. He loved his family and friends so much and would do anything for them. He was so thoughtful and knew just how to make you feel special. Although our time was cut short, I cherish all of the memories we made, and I’ll never forget how he made me feel. I know he’s smiling down on all of us. Erskin Bell Jr was one of a kind. When he came as a new student to FLEC everyone was so excited meet him. I'm not sure how or when it happened, but we became bestfriends shortly after. He would always tell me that I would stare at him during recess while he was playing basketball so he had no choice but to talk to me. I woke up everyday so excited to go to school because I got to see him. Mrs Bell had to drop him off early before work and so did my mom so for me it meant spending an extra hour talking and laughing with Erskin. 
His spirit was unique. One that ,if you got to experience you couldn't help but to laugh and smile at. My deepest love that was built off a pure friendship. 
Thank you to Mr and Mrs Bell, Erskins Mom, and Sisters for letting us all be touched by Erskin.
