Elena Suarez, 92, of Orlando, Florida passed away on October 17, 2015. She was born on May 25, 1923 in Moca, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco and Clothilde (Caban) Mendez. Elena was one of seven children. She worked in housekeeping for Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City for 20 years. Elena loved music and dancing. She also was known for her green thumb; planting peppers, tomatoes, avocados and flowers through out her yard. Survivors include her daughters, Milta Jensen and Gladys Gonzalez; sisters, Ana Davila and Salvadora Garcia; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
