Earl W. Waters

EARL WAYNE WATERS, 82, passed away at his Windermere home on March 29, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. and served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Earl graduated at the top of his class with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He relocated to Florida in 1958 and had a 30-year career at Lockheed Martin as a systems/electrical engineer and project manager. Earl is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughters, Brenda Kearney (Clay), Cindy Osmond (Mike), and Lisa Sagers (Archie); grandchildren, Jaime, Lauren, Heather, Brandon, Kellen, and Kaila; and great-grandchildren, Colby, Brenna and Hudson. He is also survived by his brothers, Cyril and Ronnie. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 31, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A memorial service to celebrate Earl's life will be held Sunday, April 1, at 1 p.m., followed by interment at Woodlawn.
