He was born on March 14, 1946, in Bloomingdale, Indiana to the late Milton and Dorothy (Wilhite) Woody.
Don studied at Purdue University, then went on to work at G.E., and eventually rose to the title of President of BrassCraft ~ Division of Masco. His work provided plenty of opportunities to travel all over the country and the world, also allowing Don to enjoy golf courses in many wonderful venues – his other passion. If no golf course presented itself, then his free time went to fishing, enjoying a glass of wine with one of his sweet daughters, or enjoying the company of his dear wife, Sue, his high school sweetheart. The world, the green, and the Woody Family will be missing their Don for many years to come…
He was preceded in death by his dear parents, and his brother, Dennis Woody.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn “Sue” Woody; daughters, Angela Stinson and Suzanne Nagel (Roger Nagel), and Rebecca Woody; grandchildren, Shelbi Nagel, Brittany Nagel, and Kyle Stinson; and his brother, David Woody.
Don will be laid to rest in a private family celebration at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, Florida.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared for the Woody family in the online guest book below.
