He was a retired Firefighter with the Reedy Creek Fire Department and a combat veteran of the Vietnam War. David was a member of many fraternal organizations which include, the International Association of Firefighters Alumni, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 4305, American Legion # 55, Fraternal Order of the Moose Lodge # 766, Fraternal Order of the Elks Lodge # 2165, Fraternal Order of the Orioles Lodge # 278, and the NRA.
David is survived by his son, John and daughter Michelle; granddaughter, Kaylee; his sisters, Beverly, and Sandra and his brother Robert.
David will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends on Thursday March 8, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road Gotha, Florida 34734. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Westwood Church 4412 N. Apopka Vineland Road Apopka, Florida 32818.
