Clara L. Sanchez, 74, of Orlando, Florida passed away unexpectedly in Jerusalem, Israel on Sunday, November 10, 2013. She was born on December 9, 1938 in Argentina to the late Arturo and Edith Hoyos. Clara worked in the deli at the Metro West Publix and retired after 15 years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she was very involved in the prayer group. Clara loved doing aerobics and walked daily. Gardening, traveling, dancing and most of all her grandkids filled her life with endless joy. Clara is preceded in death by her husband, Pablo, daughter, Edith “Edie” Sanchez and sister, Gladys Hoyos. Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Sanchez of Orlando, Florida, Clara Lopez of Bristow, Virginia and Patricia Sanchez and husband, Salvatore Distefano of Kansas City, Missouri; stepsons, Pablo E. Sanchez of Washington, D.C. and Eddie Sanchez of Palm Coast, Florida; stepdaughters, Yvette Guttierez of Tampa, Florida and Maritza Burke of Orlando, Florida and eight grandchildren, Chase, Catalina, Gabrielle, Isabella and Noelle Lopez whose father is, Andy Lopez, Giavanna, Reann and Salena Distefano. Clara was very humble and lived a full and simple life. Pallbearers will be Pablo E. Sanchez, Eddie Sanchez, Bobby Ardila, Andy Lopez, Chase Lopez and Salvatore Distefano.
